The Board Governance Committee of United Way Waterloo Region Communities (UWWRC) invites nominations and self-nominations of individuals who might be considered for the Board of Directors, Campaign Cabinet or Community Investment committee.

Campaign Cabinet

The Campaign Cabinet is a group of passionate community-minded ambassadors and leaders whose task is to strengthen our existing partnerships and forge relationships with new donors. The Cabinet supports United Way’s fundraising efforts by creating awareness about issues in our region, highlighting our work and engaging potential donors.

Community Investment Team

The CIT is a group of community-minded individuals passionate about social change and making a difference in our community, particularly when it comes to addressing poverty. They lend their expertise and varied experience to assist in reviewing applications for funding from community agencies, assessing alignment with United Way priority areas (basic needs, mental health, and social isolation), and making recommendations for funding based on a set of established criteria.
